To be eligible for admission to the PCLL in Hong Kong all students will have to demonstrate competence in 11 Core Subjects and 3 Top-up Subjects by either passing the relevant subjects as part of their common law qualifications or by passing the relevant subject in the Hong Kong Conversion Examination for PCLL Admission.

However, PCLL Conversion exams are not offered for the following subjects: Contract Law,

How do I apply for the PCLL Conversion Examinations?
If you wish to apply to sit for any of the PCLL Conversion exams, you must complete FORM B (available at http://www.pcea.com.hk/).
Together with FORM B, you must also send a cheque/ bank draft of the examination fees payable to the “PCLL Conversion Examination and Administration Limited”.
You should return FORM B together with the cheque/ bank draft as mentioned above to the address below:

If you wish to seek exemption from any of the PCLL Conversion core or top up subjects, you should complete FORM A (available at http://www.pcea.com.hk/).
Together with FORM A, you must also send a copy (not originals) of all official academic transcripts for the subjects that you are applying for exemption
Together with FORM A, you must also send a cheque/ bank draft payable to the "PCLL Conversion Examination and Administration Limited".
